Cord-cutters who use Vidgo have been frustrated for a week now. The live streamer has been fighting with a vendor, and all channels on the platform are unavailable. A spokesman tells The Streamable, “We expect it to be resolved any day.”
Earlier this week, Vidgo sent this letter to its customers.
Dear Valued Customer,
We’re so sorry that this service interruption has continued, and we wanted to provide you with an update on our efforts. As the result of an unexpected vendor dispute, our team has been working tirelessly to resolve this outage and fully restore your service.
While we’d much rather be sharing the news that your service is back up and running, we do want to make sure that you have the following information:
You will be receiving a two-week credit off your next bill to compensate for the outage.
Additionally, you will receive a $10 discount on your Vidgo bill each month for the next 6 months.
As a Vidgo customer you have access to TV Everywhere content from our partners through their apps and website. (More TV Everywhere information). For example, you can watch the NFL on the FOX or NFL Network apps, Roku, Apple, Firestick and on their websites. Vidgo offers 23 or the top 35 cable channels, including A&E, BET, Comedy Central, Discovery, Disney Channel, Disney Junior, ESPN, Food Network, Fox News, Freeform, FX, FXX, Hallmark Channel, HGTV, History, Investigation Discovery, Lifetime, MTV, Nickelodeon, Paramount Network, TLC, Travel Channel, and VH1.
