Arkansas’ state high school basketball championships get underway this week, with the boys and girls teams looking to add a state championship to their college resumes and some new metal to their school’s trophy case. Starting on Thursday, March 7, the Arkansas Activities Association (AAA) will host the 3A and 4A school basketball championship games, continuing with 5A and 6A on Friday, and 1A and 2A on Saturday. About 2024 Arkansas High School Basketball State Championship Games
The 2024 Arkansas High School Basketball State Championship will see thirteen of last season’s finalists return – a group that includes eight of last year’s state champions, while three teams will be competing in the championship round for the first time. With 12 games over three days, kicking off with the Class 3 girls Championship game at 12 noon CT on Thursday, March 7, and closing with the Class 2A boys at 7:45 p.m. CT on Saturday, March 9, you can enjoy a full weekend of Arkansas’ best high school basketball.
