Georgia’s state high school basketball championships get underway this week, with the best boys and girls teams in the state going head-to-head. Starting on Wednesday, March 6, the Georgia High School Association (GHSA) will host the Class 1A and 4A school basketball championship games, continuing with 2A and 5A on Thursday, 3A and 6A on Friday, and 1A and 7A on Saturday. The Georgia State championships begin Wednesday, March 6 at 1 p.m. ET with the Class A Division II Girls Championship, and run for four days, ending with the Class 7A boys final on Saturday, March 9 at 7:30 p.m. ET.
