Will T-Mobile Offer Free Season of MLB.TV This Year?

With the start of baseball season only a few weeks away, fans are likely wondering whether they’ll get the same unfettered access to MLB.TV through T-Mobile.

The pageantry of spring is nearly upon us, and the start of baseball season is a time of joy for millions in the United States. That’s especially true of T-Mobile subscribers, who by no are accustomed to getting free access to the out-of-market games platform MLB.TV. Fans will be able to enjoy another free season of MLB.TV with their T-Mobile subscription in 2024, and The Streamable will break down how to do it below.

  • MLB.TV will be available free to T-Mobile customers from March 26 to April 2.
  • Fans will need the MLB app and T-Mobile Tuesdays app to get the free offer.
  • T-Mobile also offers free subscriptions of Apple TV+ and Hulu, but will not provide a free season of MLS Season Pass this year.

To get a free season of MLB.TV from T-Mobile, subscribers will first have to show a little patience. The offer for a free year of the out-of-market games streamer will become available on Tuesday, March 26, the first Tuesday of the MLB season. Once that date arrives, fans can click here to redeem the free offer. Viewers will have until 4:59 a.m. ET on April 2 to redeem the offer.

Other than that, the only thing T-Mobile customers will have to do is ensure they have the MLB app installed on their phone, as well as the T-Mobile Tuesdays app. This is where they’ll find amazing deals like the MLB.TV offer, along with a wide range of other extras that come with being a T-Mobile subscriber.

MLB.TV allows fans to watch out-of-market games not appearing on national TV channels like Fox, ESPN or TBS. T-Mobile customers will get access to every team’s out-of-market games, a $149.99 value per season. Fans can also choose singe-team plans of MLB.TV if they sign up without the T-Mobile free offer.

What Other Free Streaming Services Does T-Mobile Offer?

T-Mobile subscribers will want to check out the other free streaming deals they can get through the mobile provider carefully, because there are some great bargains out there. As of January, T-Mobile customers could grab subscriptions to Hulu, Netflix and Apple TV+ at the low price of $0 per month.

One streamer that T-Mobile is not offering free this year is MLS Season Pass. That platform carries every MLS game of the season with no local blackouts, and it was free for T-Mobile customers in 2023. However, this season MLS Season Pass was not included in T-Mobile's stable of free streaming offers, most likely because of the added popularity of the streamer thanks to the arrival of Lionel Messi.

Messi’s arrival hasn’t affected T-Mobile’s offer of a free season of MLB.TV, however! Starting March 26 and continuing through April 2, T-Mobile customers can sign up for a free season of MLB.TV and watch all out-of-market games not appearing on national channels until the playoffs begin.

MLB.TV

MLB.TV is the official streaming service of Major League Baseball. You can see every out-of-market game live or on demand, and choose home or away TV and radio feeds. The app allows fans to watch up to four games simultaneously on the same screen through their Multi-view feature.

Users can choose to follow the entire league for “All Teams” ($149.99) plan, which is also available for “All Teams” ($29.99) a month, or you can stream one team’s out-of-market games for “Single Team” ($129.99).

One major caveat about the service: Your local games may be blacked out through MLB.TV, so you may still need to watch through your local provider.

If you’d like to go beyond the games, MLB.TV provides features, documentaries, and classic games.
