Tuesday night’s event will be moderated by CNN news anchor Wolf Blitzer, CNN political correspondent Abby Phillip and the Des Moines Register’s chief politics reporter Brianne Pfannenstiel.

Seven candidates are left out of the debate as they couldn’t meet the criteria set by the DNC. Prior to the December debates, Sen. Corey Booker of New Jersey, with the support of other candidates, wrote a letter to the organization asking them to re-evaluate the guidelines used to determine whether or not a candidate qualifies. For the event, candidates were required to have “at least 5 percent support in four DNC-approved national polls or 7 percent support in two early primary voting state polls, and they must have at least 225,000 donors,” Vox reported.

According to Vox, the next set of debates will take place in Manchester, New Hampshire, on Feb. 7, Las Vegas on Feb. 1 and Charleston, South Carolina, on Feb. 25, ahead of the caucuses or primaries in those states.
