Tubi Kids is trying to make its streaming service available to as many users as possible.
The streamer has expanded the Tubi Kids library to iOS users. Given the pandemic and nationwide stay-at-home orders, the access is a plus for kids and parents alike.
“With families spending more time together, we’re delighted to make the Tubi Kids library available on iOS devices,” stated Michael Ahiakpor, Chief Product Officer, Tubi. “Kids will have easy access to some of the world’s most beloved characters in movies and TV, absolutely cost-free.”
The AVOD offers more than 1,200 movies and TV shows, including “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles,” “Norm of the North,” “Degrassi: The Next Generation,” “Sonic X” and “Mr. Bean,” among others. It totals 5,000 hours of content in all, meaning its extensive content line-up has something for everyone.
Last week, the AVOD announced the service would be available on Android devices soon.
It’s also accessible on Amazon Echo Show, Google Nest Hub Max, Comcast Xfinity X1, Cox Contour, and on OTT devices such as Amazon Fire TV, Vizio TVs, Sony TVs, Samsung TVs, Roku, Apple TV, Chromecast, Android TV, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
As of December 2019, Tubi, the largest ad-supported VOD service, claimed 163 million hours watched.
