Roku is making sure you access your favorite holiday programming with ease. The company announced the launch of the Thanksgiving and Holiday Zones where they are offering some the season’s classics.
Their Thanksgiving Zone now offers movies such as “Planes, Trains, and Automobiles,” “You’ve Got Mail,” “Free Birds,” as well as Thanksgiving TV episodes from hit shows such as “Modern Family,” “Friends” and Thanksgiving cooking tips from Bobby Flay, Giada De Laurentiis and more.
Their Holiday Zone features classics such as “A Christmas Story,” “Elf,” “Love Actually” and “Home Alone,” as well as holiday TV episodes from “Seinfeld,” “The Wonder Years” and “SNL” among others.
Roku recently announced they now have 32.3 million active accounts. This is after the company added 1.7 million last quarter, and over 8.5 million since the third quarter last year. With more users, streaming hours increased from 6.2 billion to 10.3 billion (+66%) over the last year.
