What’s New on TV Tonight (4/24/2020): Stream ‘Extraction,’ ‘Beastie Boys Story,’ ‘Defending Jacob’ and More
Close the week out with a little bit of music history as the “Beastie Boys Story” premieres on Apple TV+. The documentary showcases the story of the widely popular, ’80s hip hop group, as told by surviving members Mike Diamond and Adam Horovitz. Also on Apple TV+ are the first three episodes of the platform’s newest addition “Defending Jacob” with Chris Evans and Michelle Dockery. The series follows an assistant DA as he faces a conundrum when a shocking crime hits his small town.
Netflix is bringing in all the action with Chris Hemsworth in “Extraction.” The “Thor” actor plays Tyler Rake, a black market mercenary who has to rescue the kidnapped son of an imprisoned international crime lord.
Amazon Prime Video and VH1 keep it light with competition series “Making the Cut” and “RuPaul’s Secret Celebrity Drag Race.”
