FIRST LOOK: Watch Peacock Original Trailers For Saved By The Bell, Punky Brewster, Psych, Angelyne & More
Peacock, NBCU’s streaming service, launched an early preview this morning for Xfinity X1 and Xfinity Flex customers. While the service for now includes on-demand access to classic series and movies — the company plans to have dozens of original series by next year.
Because of the COVID-19 pandemic Matt Strauss, Chairman of Peacock, said that the timing of those are “tricky to answer because it’s unclear when things are going back to normal.” He does expect some to be available at the July 15th launch and more hopefully towards the end of 2020 like “Brave New World,” “Psych 2: Lassie Come Home,” and reboots of “Punky Brewster” and “Saved By The Bell.”
However, that didn’t stop Peacock Premium subscribers from getting a sneak peak of the shows. Peacock subscribers were able to watch trailers of original shows including “Saved By The Bell”, “Angelyne” starring Emmy Rossum, and “Intelligence” starring David Schwimmer. You can take a look at the trailers below.
