The Democratic presidential candidates will engage in the first of three debates in February on Friday night. The debate will take place at St. Anselm College in Manchester, New Hampshire.
Seven candidates have qualified for Friday night’s debate, which will be hosted by ABC News, along with WMUR-TV and Apple News. The panel of moderators includes ABC News chief anchor George Stephanopoulos, ABC World News Tonight anchor David Muir, ABC News correspondent Linsey Davis, WMUR political director Adam Sexton and WMUR anchor Monica Hernandez.
Hulu is also partnering with ABC News and will stream the debate live to Hulu and Disney billed on-demand subscribers for free. The streaming service will also offer pre-show and post-show coverage. The live stream will be available on the Hulu homepage when viewers log into the app, beginning at 7 p.m. ET.
The debate will wrap up what has been a chaotic week in politics. The Iowa caucuses, which took place on Monday, were riddled with controversy after an app malfunction delayed results, and on Wednesday, Donald Trump was acquitted on all charges against him in the impeachment trials.
Friday’s debate will be followed by a debate in Nevada on Feb. 19, and then the last debate will take place on Feb. 25 in South Carolina, KIRO 7 reports.
