The Netflix Original series Cobra Kai has been renewed for a fifth season, which shoots this fall. Cobra Kai Season 4 will debut on Netflix in December. That season sees the return of Karate Kid III bad guy Terry Silver (Thomas Ian Griffith). Series stars Ralph Macchio and William Zabka also serve as executive producers.

Netflix

Netflix is a subscription video streaming service that includes on-demand access to 3,000+ movies, 2,000+ TV Shows, and Netflix Originals like Stranger Things, Mindhunter, Queer Eye, and Russian Doll. They are constantly adding new shows and movies — and have even begun creating original films like The Irishman (Robert De Niro, Al Pacino) and Dolemite is My Name (Eddie Murphy).

Netflix offers three plans — on 1 device in SD with their “Basic” (£6) plan, on 2 devices in HD with their “Standard” (£9) plan, and 4 devices in up to 4K on their “Premium” (£12) plan.

Netflix spends more money on content than any other streaming service meaning that you get more value for the monthly fee.

Here are additional deals and projects:

  • Manifest has been saved by Netflix. The drama will get a fourth and final season at the streamer following its sudden cancellation at NBC. The series will get 20 new episodes to wrap up the story of the passengers of Flight 828. The episodes will be rolled out in parts, with the number of parts and specific episodes in each yet to be determined. The new deal follows a campaign to save the show by fans.

  • Jon Stewart returns to TV on Sept. 30 with his Apple TV+ series, The Problem With Jon Stewart. The weekly current-affairs show takes “a deep-dive on the most important topics currently part of the national conversation. Stewart will be in discussion with the people who are impacted by the issues — as well as those who have a hand in creating the impact,” according to the streamer.

  • Paramount+ will stream Players from Tony Yacenda and Dan Perrault, the duo behind the Netflix docuseries-style scripted comedy American Vandal. Players follows a fictional League of Legends esports team as it chases its first championship in years. But to win, it needs the 17-year-old rookie and the 27-year-old veteran to work together.

  • Jungle Cruise, starring Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt, is getting a sequel. The film, released at the end of July, just passed the $100 million mark at the domestic box office.
