What’s Coming to Sundance Now in August 2020, Including ‘The Suspect’ and ‘Slings and Arrows’
From true crime to theatrical comedy, Sundance Now drills into the human psyche. “The Suspect” is a true story of the gruesome murder and botched investigation of Richard Oland of Moosehead Brewing, from one of Canada’s wealthiest families, and the police’s only suspect – his son Dennis. “Slings and Arrows” is the award-winning comedy about a theatrical madman who takes over the New Burbage Theatre Festival, only to be hilariously haunted by his former mentor.
Tim Minchin (“Robin Hood,” Californication”) stars in the Australian drama “Upright,” while the French spy thriller “The Bureau” offers its explosive finale. And for doc fans, “Vegas Baby” profiles Americans desperate to start a family competing for a free round of IVF.
