Hulu is now partnering with Uber Eats so that you don’t have to leave home to grab dinner while you’re streaming your favorite shows. The deal will give Hulu subscribers, which is available with a 30-Day Free Trial a six-month subscription to the ridesharing company’s food delivery service.
Eats Pass normally costs $9.99 per month and gives customers unlimited free delivery on orders over $15, and 5% off on eligible orders. This includes food and grocery orders. The pass also includes a 10% discount on the first three eligible Uber rides each month.
The deal starts today and runs through January 10, 2022, and is valid for one Uber Eats pass per Hulu account. Subscribers to Hulu’s ad-supported and ad-free tiers, as well as Hulu Live TV customers are eligible for the offer, as long as they have not already activated a free trial of the service.
Eligible Hulu subscribers will get an email with instructions on how to sign up for the Uber Eats deal.
This comes as streaming services are working to find various ways to combat streaming fatigue, as well as finding ways to reduce the departure of customers they’ve gained over the course of the pandemic. Previously, Hulu has teamed to offer discounted offers from Spotify and Showtime.
Earlier this month, HBO Max, in another discounted deal, offered new and returning subscribers a 50% discount — dropping its monthly price to $7.49 per month for six months for a limited period.
