For those of you who may want to stream “Tiger King,” “The Baby-Sitters Club” and other Netflix originals as you move around the kitchen, things just got a bit easier for you. Today, Google announced they will now be carrying Netflix on their Nest Hub as well as Nest Hub Max.
The service is rolling out on Nest Hub and Nest Hub Max devices in territories where all three are accessible. Subscribers can simply link their accounts in the Google Home or Assistant app and will be able to play Netflix movies, TV shows and documentaries.
The Nest Hub and Nest Hub Max allow for multitaskers to go about their activities while also streaming their favorite programs. Google Assistant allows you to pause, play or skip forward with a simple ask.
Netflix joins the likes of Sling TV, YouTube, Tubi and a host of other apps on the platforms.
In November, Sling TV announced that, they would be available on the Google Nest Hub, as well as the Nest Hub Max, expanding Sling’s footprint to more than 20 platforms, including smart TVs, tablets, game consoles, computers, smartphones, VR headsets and other streaming devices.
In December, Tubi announced that voice casting was officially available for Nest Hub and Nest Hub Max. Customers simply tell their Nest displays to play content and are able to start watching instantly.
