Everything you need to know about watching the NFL on streaming in 2026
Which channels and streamers have NFL games in 2026?
CBS and Fox continue as the NFL’s TV partners for its Sunday afternoon game packages. AFC teams are generally found on CBS, while NFC teams usually play on Fox, but the league has a lot of flexibility to move games around between networks, so this is not a hard and fast rule. Games broadcast on Fox and CBS are available to stream in local markets via Fox One and Paramount+, respectively.
NBC will once again serve as host for the primetime “Sunday Night Football” package. The NBCUniversal streaming service Peacock will stream these games live every week.
Prime Video is back as the NFL’s partner for “Thursday Night Football” national broadcasts, as well as its Black Friday game. Fans will still be able to watch the games on local channels in the markets of the two teams playing.
ABC and ESPN will welcome “Monday Night Football” back for another season this year. ESPN now owns NFL Network, and while that cable channel will carry exclusive NFL international game broadcasts again this year, the games will also be available to stream live on ESPN Unlimited, which will offer each “MNF” game, as well.
Netflix is locked in as the league’s partner for an NFL Christmas Day doubleheader, and will stream them for subscribers of every plan. This year, the streamer will also enjoy a Week 1 international game, a Thanksgiving Eve game, and a Week 18 game.

How many streaming-exclusive NFL games are there in 2026?
Below, you’ll be able to see a table of all streaming-exclusive NFL games for the 2026-27 season, including “TNF” games on Prime Video. Streaming will be the only method of watching these games for national audiences, but per NFL policy and its agreements with broadcasters, those games will also be available on local broadcast channels in the markets of the two teams playing.
How to watch the NFL with live TV streaming
The easiest way to watch NFL games in 2026 all on one platform is with a subscription to a live TV streaming service, since these services carry games from multiple TV networks all on the same app. Depending on the streamer, you’ll be able to watch all games on ABC, CBS, ESPN, Fox, and NBC with just one subscription.
Next, we’ll explain in further detail which live TV streamers will carry NFL games this year, and in which packages.
DIRECTV
DIRECTV offers ABC, CBS, ESPN, Fox, and NBC in all of its Signature channel packages, starting with the $90-per-month ENTERTAINMENT plan. Each Signature plan has news, sports, and entertainment channels available, and customers can pick between one of four plans with increasing channel counts if they want more TV access. To get NFL Network, however, viewers will either need the Sports add-on pack for $15 per month extra, or purchase a CHOICE level or above Signature plan.
Viewers will also find all six NFL-carrying channels in the DIRECTV MySports Genre Pack, which normally costs $65 per month for 20 sports-related channels and an ESPN Unlimited subscription. The MySports pack and DIRECTV’s Signature plans are all great ways to stream the NFL on traditional TV this season.
DIRECTV
DIRECTV is one of The Streamable’s top choices for the best live TV streaming service overall in 2026, especially for users who want the most channels or want to watch the most live sports. With an unbeatable lineup of local, news, sports, and entertainment channels, three main signature packages, an unlimited DVR, and 20 simultaneous streams at home, DIRECTV remains a premier choice for any cord-cutter.
Fubo

This entry-level package provides access to local broadcast affiliates 18 of the leading 35 cable channels channels, and valuable regional sports networks (RSNs).
Hulu + Live TV

Sling TV
Sling TV doesn’t have CBS anywhere, and only carries ABC, Fox, and NBC in a small selection of markets. Those channels, along with NFL Network, are found in the Sling Blue ($46 per month) and Sling Select ($20 per month) plans, but viewers in areas in which Sling carries locals will have to pay a small surcharge for receiving them.
The Sling Orange ($46 per month) and Sling Essentials ($20 per month) plans both carry ESPN. Viewers can enjoy short-term subscriptions to Sling Orange called Passes, which allow fans to watch for $5 per day, $10 per three days, or $15 for seven days — perfect for streaming the stray “Monday Night Football” game.
Sling TV
Sling TV is The Streamable’s choice for cord-cutters on a budget. Sling is a live TV streaming service with multiple channel packages. The $45.99/month Sling Orange plan offers about 30 channels, including Disney Channel and ESPN. YouTube TV
YouTube TV has ABC, CBS, Fox, NBC, and NFL Network in its base channel package, which has 100+ channels overall for $83 per month. YouTube TV

Local channels are included in most markets, making YouTube TV a full replacement for traditional cable for many viewers.
How to watch the NFL with on-demand streaming
As noted above, there are several on-demand streaming services that will carry exclusive NFL games this year. In addition, several other on-demand or direct-to-consumer streamers will allow fans to watch the NFL without a live TV streaming service, should viewers choose.

What’s the cheapest way to stream the NFL?
Live TV streaming
The cheapest way to watch all NFL games appearing in your market on ABC, CBS, Fox, NBC, and NFL Network is with a subscription to the YouTube TV Sports Genre Plan. This package has all six channels, plus other sports networks like FS1 and TNT. It costs $55 per month for a new customer’s first year of service, which will get customers through the 2026-27 NFL regular season and playoffs.
DIRECTV is the second-cheapest option. Its MySports Genre Pack costs $65 per month — $10 more than YouTube TV, but still less than Hulu + Live TV. The Fubo Sports plan is also $65 per month normally, but unlike DIRECTV’s MySports, it does not have NBC, so “Sunday Night Football” is unavailable.
On-demand streaming
If you want to subscribe to only the on-demand streamers that carry exclusive NFL games this year, you’ll need to pay for three months of Netflix at $9 per month, one month of Peacock for $11 per month, and five months of Prime Video at $9 per month. Altogether, that adds up to $83 per season.
Should you choose to go on-demand only for the NFL season, you’ll also need five months of Paramount+ at $9 each, and five months of Fox One at $20 each to see all games on CBS and Fox. And to bring all “MNF” and international games into the equation, you’ll need five months of ESPN Unlimited at $30 each. The good news here is that you can bundle Fox One and ESPN for a combined price of $40 per month — $10 less than subscribing to the two services on their own. You’ll also need to stay subscribed to Peacock for five months, not just one, as otherwise you’ll have no “SNF” access.
| Category | Streaming Service | Monthly Rate | Months Needed | Total Season Cost | Games included |

How to stream out-of-market NFL games in 2026
NFL Sunday Ticket is the only way to watch out-of-market NFL games from CBS and Fox on Sunday afternoons. The service is distributed by YouTube TV, and can be bundled with a YouTube TV plan or purchased as a standalone service through the YouTube TV Primetime Channels store. Viewers can also bundle NFL Sunday Ticket with the NFL RedZone channel, if they prefer.
Fans can sign up to pay for NFL Sunday Ticket as a lump sum, or can spread payments over 12 months if they prefer. However, if you choose the latter option, know that cancelling NFL Sunday Ticket early does not remove your obligation to pay for the full 12 months; you’ll still be on the hook. Check out the pricing schedule for NFL Sunday Ticket below:
