Fubo Shakes Up Streaming Packages With Price Increases and New Channel Lineups
Say hello to Fubo’s new Deluxe package, which includes Sports Plus with NFL RedZone, MGM+, and more.
Fubo has a well-earned reputation for switching up its channel packages and making changes to its customer offerings in anticipation of major sporting events. Just ahead of the 2024 NFL and college football seasons, the sports-focused streamer is mixing things up yet again. The company isn’t making any changes to its base Pro plan, but it has added channels to its Elite plan to go along with a price increase. The streamer has also replaced the Premier plan with a new offering, dubbed the “Deluxe” package.
Key Details:
- The Elite and Deluxe packages both incorporate the Sports Plus channel package, including NFL RedZone.
- Both plans also allow viewers to watch some content in Ultra-High-Definition 4K.
- Subscribers to the Deluxe plan will get access to the MGM+ premium channel.

Before the changeover, Fubo offered three English-language packages: its Pro plan starting at $79.99 per month, the Elite package at $89.99, and the Premier plan for $99.99. The Pro plan remains unchanged, but the Elite package has been upgraded to the “Elite with Sports Plus” plan, which now costs $99.99 before taxes and fees. The Deluxe package replaces the Premier plan and increases the price to $109.99 per month, and also includes the extra channels found in the Sports Plus add-on from Fubo.
TV Answer Man was the first to spot Fubo’s latest plan changeups. Current Fubo subscribers will not see any changes to their ongoing subscriptions unless they cancel or voluntarily change their plans.
Fubo is known to continuously tinkering with its streaming plans. In fact, the streamer removed the Premier plan for new customers in March, but the package was later restored. Now it’s gone again, but there stands a good chance it will be brought back in some form or other at a later time.
What’s in the New Fubo Elite with Sports Plus and Deluxe Packages?
Per the Fubo website, both channel packages offer around 300 channels, depending on the market. Local channels like ABC, CBS, NBC, and Fox are included, and each incorporates the “Sports Plus” add-on package which features channels like NFL RedZone, MLB Network, NBA TV and NHL Network. Simply put, these plans are the perfect way to enjoy the end of the MLB seasons, and the start of the NFL, NBA, and NHL campaigns this year. Both the Elite with Sports Plus and Deluxe packages allow customers to stream some live sports events in Ultra-High-Definition 4K, unlike the Pro plan.
The Deluxe package also folds in the International Sports Plus add-on, so viewers can stream live sports like cricket and soccer from around the globe. On the entertainment front, the Deluxe plan also includes the premium channel MGM+, which offers titles like “Godfather of Harlem,” the sci-fi thriller “FROM,” scores of movies, and more.
Customers should be aware when choosing Fubo that the streamer’s starting prices do not reflect the regional sports network (RSN) fee that customers have to pay if they have an RSN affiliated with Fubo in their market, including Bally Sports channels. This fee can be as much as $14.99 per month on top of the base package price.
Fubo has plenty of reasons to celebrate these days, higher-priced plans notwithstanding. The streamer won a key ruling against Venu Sports last week, as a judge blocked Venu from being sold to customers with a preliminary injunction requested by Fubo. Executives at Fubo have long maintained that Venu would cause the death of other live TV streaming services by offering a smaller channel assortment that its owners have never allowed companies like Fubo to sell at a price that competitors can’t match.
