About ‘Like a Dragon: Yakuza’
“Like a Dragon: Yakuza” takes viewers into a modern Japan rife with violence, thanks in no small part to the organized crime families that carve out spheres of influence in the country. The show will immerse viewers in the entertainment district of Kamurocho, where many of the most notorious gang members live.
At a Kamurocho orphanage in 1995, four friends decide to turn to lives of crime in order to lift themselves out of the bleak existence they feel trapped in. Ten years later, their decisions have huge repercussions, both for the area in which they live and for the friendship they forged in terrible conditions.
