Bill Skarsgård Tapped for Upcoming Six-Part Netflix Series ‘Clark’

Stephanie Sengwe

Netflix has secured the talents of yet another superstar. The streaming giant has tapped Swedish actor Bill Skarsgård (“It,”It Chapter Two”) for a role in their upcoming series “Clark.” The six-part series is a “Swedish language adaptation of Clark Olofsson’s autobiography in which the convicted drug trafficker and bank robber reflected on his criminal escapades which began in the 1960s,” Deadline reports.

“Clark Olofsson is, for good and bad, one of Sweden’s most colorful and fascinating individuals. I accept this challenge with delight mingled with terror and think that with Jonas and Netflix in the back, we can tell a groundbreaking story with a pace and madness we may not have seen on TV before,” Skarsgård stated.

In addition to “Clark,” Skarsgård is also on board to star in “The Devil All the Time,” another Netflix production coming out later this year.

Recently, the streamer signed Joe Russo to write “Extraction 2,” a second installment of the high-octane thriller. The first film debuted on the platform on April 24 and is projected to reach 90 million households in its first four weeks.
