The NCAA Tournament isn’t the only home for madness this March as the National Invitation Tournament — better known as the NIT — gets underway on Tuesday, March 19 as 32 teams that did not make the Big Dance will still have the opportunity to cut make postseason runs and cut down nets at the end of their season. About 2024 Men's NIT Basketball Tournament

The 2024 postseason Men’s NIT Tournament will tip off on Tuesday, March 19 at 7 p.m. ET with four different games spanning ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, the SEC Network. and ESPN+. In total, there will be nine games airing on Tuesday night, with 22 more coming through the tournament championship game on Thursday, April 4.

Throughout the duration of the tournament, at least 23 NIT games will air on ESPN linear channels while every game will be available to stream on ESPN+, including some streaming-exclusive games.

The first two rounds and quarterfinals will take place on the home courts of participating teams while on Tuesday, April 2, the action will move to Hinkle Fieldhouse in Indianapolis for the semifinals. The championship game will also take place in the Circle City on Thursday, April 4.
