About ‘Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire’
Despite the uneasy truce that allowed them to take down Mechagodzilla together, Kong and Godzilla are hardly the best of friends. The two have gone their separate ways since that battle, and Kong descends deep underground to seek an unexplored layer of the Hollow Earth, continuing his sad but determined search for his family.
In his journey, he inadvertently unleashes the most dangerous threat to mankind the world has ever seen. He can’t tackle the danger alone, but will he be able to track down his old partner Godzilla to help him deal with the threat? Or will the titanic lizard turn on his erstwhile ape ally and let humanity deal with the problem itself?
