Jigen Daisuke is leaving the animated world for live action for the first time since 2014, and this movie is a true origin story that will show fans how the legendary character first became such a lethal operator. He’s the greatest gunfighter in the world, and now fans will get the chance to watch him pick up his Combat Magnum for the very first time.

Daisuke will be played by Tetsuji Tamayama, the actor who originally brought the character off the page and onto the screen in 2014’s “Lupin III.” Now the spotlight is completely on Daisuke, and fans can be sure that this adaptation will honor the source material they’ve loved for so long while also telling a story they’ve never seen told before.
