Have you always thought you were in the top one percent of intelligent people in the country? Well, now you can prove it in Prime Video’s first-ever game show, “The 1% Club.” Hosted by comedian and actor Patton Oswalt, the game show will ask a series of increasingly difficult questions backed by scientific surveys, with 100 contestants from around the country answering them in the hopes of landing in the top one percent. And if they do, they have the chance to win up to $100,000. While the questions don’t necessarily test intelligence, their increasing difficulty will inquire about how your brain really works. Think you’re in the top one percent? Watch the first episode premiere of “The 1% Club” exclusively on Prime Video on Thursday, May 23, and find out. You can watch with a 30-Day Free Trial of Amazon Prime Video.
About 'The 1% Club' Premiere
“The 1% Club” is a game show unlike any other. The questions are designed to test how your brain functions, not just questions to test intelligence. One hundred contestants from all around the country will compete against one another, first in the 90 percent question (based on actual surveys of the American people), 80 percent question, and so on over 15 questions until only a few remain with the chance to correctly answer the one percent question. If they get that right, they could win the $100,000 prize.
The game show is based on the wildly successful European format from ITV that has spawned internationally to Netherlands, Australia, Germany, France, Israel and Spain, with more countries planned. While “The 1% Club” is set to debut on Monday, June 3 on FOX, with new episodes on Mondays (and next day on Prime) you can watch the first episode exclusively on Prime Video on May 23.
