About 'The Underdoggs' Series Premiere
In “The Underdoggs,” Snoop Dogg plays Jaycen “Two Js” Jennings, a former pro-football player whose best playing days are a long way behind him. Needing distractions, Jennings falls into some less-than-sustainable habits, and when he runs into trouble with the law he is faced with a choice: community service, or…well, he probably doesn’t want to know what the option is.
Jennings is assigned as coach of a local pee-wee football team, but if he thinks coaching kids will be a walk in the park he’s got another thing coming. The team doesn’t want him any more than he wants to be there, and they don’t mind letting him know. But after a while, Jennings begins to remember why he loved football so much in the first place, and he may stand a chance of turning his life around after all.
