Although Turkey Day has not yet passed, many around the U.S. are already preparing themselves for the holiday season. Hulu + Live TV has an early present for those who just can’t wait for Christmas, as the service has announced it is adding the Hallmark Channel, as well as 13 others, to its lineup of offerings.

The announcement was also accompanied by official word that Hulu + Live TV was adding The Weather Channel, which was first reported in early November. Now Hulu + Live TV customers will be able to track the next big snowstorm and have a Hallmark original movie to stay cozy with when it hits.

“We have been listening to our subscribers and are thrilled to bring some of their most requested channels to our service just in time for the holidays,” Hulu SVP Reagan Feeney said. “With these additions, Hulu + Live TV continues to be one of the most valuable live TV streaming destinations on the market, offering subscribers access to more than 85 live channels and entire on-demand content libraries from Hulu, Disney+, and ESPN+.”

Here’s the full list of new channels coming or already launched on Hulu + Live TV, with release dates:

Nov. 1

  • The Weather Channel: The Emmy Award-winning iconic global standard for all news and information related to weather, climate, and technology. For 11 consecutive years, Harris Poll has ranked The Weather Channel as the “TV News Brand of the Year.”

  • Comedy.TV: A network dedicated to today’s funniest comedians, featuring a mix of live concert performances, talk shows, variety shows, sitcoms, game shows, movies, and original content including Funny You Should Ask and Comics Unleashed.

Nov. 14

  • Hallmark Channel: Hallmark Channel features an ambitious slate of new, original content, including movies and scripted series. It is also home to the popular annual holiday franchise Countdown to Christmas, which features a 24/7 lineup of holiday programming, including all-new original holiday movie premieres every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night throughout the season.

  • Hallmark Movies & Mysteries: Hallmark Movies & Mysteries is a 24-hour cable network featuring a unique mix of new, original movies and acquired series focused on the lighter side of the suspense and mystery genres. The network also features its own annual holiday programming franchise, Miracles of Christmas.

  • Hallmark Drama (with Entertainment Add-On): Hallmark Drama showcases the rich legacy of the Hallmark Hall of Fame library and spotlights movies and series from Hallmark Media’s collection of original dramatic content.

Dec. 1

  • Vevo Pop: Vevo Pop features 24/7 programming of the latest top charting music videos from the biggest Pop artists, such as Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Camila Cabello and more.

  • Vevo Hip-Hop: Curated by Vevo’s in-house experts, Vevo Hip-Hop showcases the best music videos from trap to rap, including artists such as Lil Baby, Kendrick Lamar, Drake and more.

  • Vevo Country: Vevo Country boasts nothing but 24/7 hit music videos from the biggest Country artists, from Luke Combs to Miranda Lambert and Kane Brown.

  • Vevo ‘80s: Tune in to Vevo ‘80s to enjoy music videos from your favorite ‘80s artists across all genres, from Bon Jovi, to Whitney Houston, to Cyndi Lauper and more.

  • Vevo ‘90s” From grunge to gangsta to boy bands, the biggest music videos of the ‘90s are found here. Artists featured on Vevo ‘90s include Nirvana, Mariah Carey, TLC, Backstreet Boys, and more.

  • Vevo Holiday: Vevo’s largest holiday TV lineup to date features carefully curated, 24-hour programming ranging from traditional Christmas music, such as “Silent Night” and “O Holy Night”, to holiday classics, such as “Winter Wonderland” and “Let It Snow!”, and newer hits, such as “Mistletoe” and “Santa Tell Me.”

  • TheGrio Television Network: A television network bringing viewers award-winning television shows, movies, sports, news, documentaries, and specials focusing on the African American consumer.

  • JusticeCentral.TV: A network dedicated to Emmy Award-winning Judges and Emmy Award-nominated court shows, legal news, and the world’s biggest trials.

  • The Weather Channel en Español: America’s first and only Spanish-language version of the iconic global standard for all news and information related to weather, climate, and technology.

Hulu + Live TV added 400,000 subscribers last quarter to reach a total of 4.4 million total global users. The service will see a price increase on Dec. 8, when existing subscribers who use Hulu with ads will have a price hike from $69.99 per month to $74.99 per month (unless they downgrade their Disney Bundle).

Users who subscribe to ad-free Hulu will pay $82.99 per month instead of $75.99. The increase may be a burden on customers’ wallets, but at least they’ll have access to content from the Hallmark Channel, and the rest of Hulu + Live TV’s 85+ channels.

Hulu Live TV

Hulu Live TV is a live TV streaming service with more than 70 channels for $89.99 per month. Hulu + Live TV base plan includes local channels 32 of the top 35 cable channels, and regional sports networks (RSNs). Subscribers get free access to Disney+ and ESPN Select at no extra charge.

Where it really separates itself is value. Your subscription doesn’t just cover live TV — it also includes full access to Hulu’s on-demand library, plus bundled subscriptions to Disney+ and ESPN Select content at no extra cost. That means you’re getting everything from next-day network TV episodes and Hulu Originals, to Marvel, Star Wars, and live sports content all in one place without juggling multiple bills.

For sports fans, Hulu + Live TV also includes regional sports networks (RSNs) in select areas, a feature many competing services have dropped. That can be a big deal if you’re trying to follow local MLB, NBA, or NHL teams.

The DVR experience is another strong point. Subscribers get unlimited cloud DVR storage and the ability to fast-forward through commercials on recorded content — a feature that used to cost extra but is now standard. It’s designed to feel closer to a traditional cable DVR, just without the box.

If you want to customize further, several add-ons are available. You can upgrade to premium channels like HBO, Showtime, or Starz, add an unlimited streams option for households with lots of viewers, or go ad-free on Hulu’s on-demand content (live TV will still include ads).

Overall, Hulu + Live TV is less about being the cheapest option and more about being the most comprehensive. It’s built for people who want live TV, on-demand shows, and bundled streaming services all under one roof — without having to piece everything together themselves.
