Which Max Plan Offers the Best Discount?

The better the Max plan you sign up for, the more features you’ll get. You’ll also get bigger savings as you step up in price; customers who opt to pay month-to-month for the Ultimate Ad-Free plan pay nearly $240 per year for the service, but viewers who prepay with the current discount can save nearly $100 off that price. Ultimate Ad-Free allows viewers to download up to 100 titles for offline viewing, and presents select titles in Ultra-High-Definition 4K, as well as presenting content with no commercials during playback.

Plan Discounted Annual Plan Rate Normal Annual Plan Rate Total Cost of 1 Year of Max at Monthly Rate
With Ads $69.99 $99.99 $119.88
Ad-Free $104.99 $149.99 $191.88
Ultimate Ad-Free $139.99 $199.99 $239.88

What Are Max’s Biggest Premieres in the Next Year?

The next 12 months will feature some big-name premieres on Max, including live sports events. The 2024 NBA and NHL playoffs are about to begin, and each league will play a large number of postseason contests on TNT. That means they’ll stream on Max simultaneously, as the service offers games from TNT, TBS and truTV on its Bleacher Report Sports add-on. Customers will eventually have to pay $9.99 per month extra for Bleacher Report Sports, but that likely won't take hold until this summer, so there will be no extra charge to stream the NBA and NHL playoffs.

Outside of sports, WBD has some big-name titles heading to Max in the next year. Movies like the blockbuster “Dune: Part Two” and A24’s chilling new release “Civil War” will arrive on Max during that time, as will titles like “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga” and “Twisters,” which are due to bow in theaters in the next few months.

On the TV side, Max’s 2024 schedule is no less impressive. A new season of “House of the Dragon” hits Max on June 16, and a “Penguin” TV series based on Colin Farrell’s portrayal of Oswald Cobblepot in “The Batman” is already creating buzz among DC fans. Fans of the “Dune” movies will want to circle late 2024 on their calendars, as the “Dune: Prophecy” series is set to hit the streamer around this time.

This is but a small list of the TV and movie premieres on Max in the next year, and audiences will certainly find much more on the platform to enjoy once they’re signed up. There’s not much time left to get an annual subscription of Max at a big discount; customers have until the end of the day on Tuesday, April 8 to get 40% off any annual plan of Max and watch premium content for the next year.
