Netflix Unveils Full 2024 Slate of Movies, TV, Games; Including ‘Bridgerton,’ New ‘Beverly Hills Cop,’ ‘Squid Game,’ More
New seasons of “Bridgerton” and “The Night Agent” are coming to the world’s largest streamer in 2024, but what about “Stranger Things”?
Netflix takes its position as the leader of the streaming industry seriously. It frequently makes moves that no other streaming platform does, such as releasing viewership data for 99% of its shows, and this week it took another action few competing streaming services do: unveiling its entire TV, movie, and mobile game slate for the rest of 2024.
- New seasons of “Bridgerton,” “Cobra Kai” and “Squid Game” will arrive on Netflix in 2024.

- The schedule confirms there will be no new episodes of “Stranger Things” until at least 2025.
What Are the Highlights of Netflix’s TV Release Schedule in 2024?
There are some big fan favorites returning to Netflix this year. The titles audiences will be most excited to see are new seasons of “Bridgerton,” (Part 1 releasing May 16, Part 2 on June 13); “Cobra Kai”; and “Squid Game.” Other popular titles that will get new seasons on Netflix include “The Night Agent,” “Vikings: Valhalla” and more.
There are also some highly-anticipated new titles coming to Netflix in 2024, like “Avatar: The Last Airbender” (Feb. 22); “The 3 Body Problem”; and “Jurassic World: Chaos Theory.”
Unfortunately for fans of Netflix’s top show, there will be no new season of “Stranger Things” in 2024. Other notable absences include “Wednesday” and “You,” but there’s a very good chance these shows will be back in 2025 or 2026.

Eddie Murphy is back as Axel Foley in “Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F” (July 1), which is sure to be a big hit for Netflix. Other highlights include the new Tyler Perry-helmed thriller “Mea Culpa” (Feb. 23); “Saving Bikini Bottom: The Sandy Cheeks Movie”; and “Rebel Moon - Part Two: The Scargiver.”
What Are the Highlights of Netflix’s Game Release Slate in 2024?
The streamer didn’t make any huge announcements on this front in the vein of last year's addition of the “Grand Theft Auto” franchise to Netflix, but it could add more such games with new licensing deals in 2024.
Netflix will offer several mobile games based on its own series and movies this year, including titles based on “Squid Game” and “Rebel Moon,” a new Sonic game, and even “Chicken Run.” No release dates have been announced for Netflix’s mobile games as of yet, nor is an exhaustive list of all games coming to the streamer in 2024 available.
