One Week Left to Watch AMC+ Series Like ‘Fear the Walking Dead,’ ‘Interview with the Vampire’ on Max
If you’re looking for a frightful good time this Halloween season, Max is the streamer for you. Its “House of Halloween” content hub has a wide range of spooky titles for fans of all ages to enjoy, and it also carries a fantastic selection of titles imported from AMC+, many of which are Halloween-themed. But hurry, there isn’t much time left to enjoy this specially-licensed content!

Halloween Haunts
AMC first sent seven titles to stream on Max in early September, and they’ve been there ever since. The titles include “Anne Rice’s Interview with the Vampire,” “Dark Winds,” “Gangs of London” (Seasons 1 and 2), “Fear the Walking Dead” (Seasons 1 through 7), “Killing Eve” (Seasons 1 through 4), “A Discovery of Witches” (Seasons 1 through 3), and “Ride with Norman Reedus” (Seasons 1 through 5).
But as of Tuesday, Oct. 31, those titles are slated to be pulled from Max and become AMC+ exclusives once again. Max subscribers have just one week left to enjoy unlimited streaming of these shows unless they want to pony up the $4.99 per month needed to stream ad-supported AMC+.
Is Max’s Deal With Netflix Ending Too?
Max has another licensing deal currently in operation, though this one entails sending its shows to another streamer rather than importing shows from competing platforms. That deal is with Netflix, and has sent series like “Ballers,” “Insecure,” “Band of Brothers” and more to play on the world’s largest streaming platform.
That deal is in no danger of ending, and in fact, is about to expand. “Six Feet Under” will appear on Netflix on Nov. 1, the day after AMC+ series are due to disappear from Max. Engagements for the shared titles have been rising on both streaming platforms, so it may be that the deal between Netflix and Max is open-ended, as neither has announced an end date for it yet.
That won’t help Max users who are sad that AMC+ titles are leaving the service next week, but they still have until Oct. 31 to binge those titles to their hearts’ content. Max is clearly open to other such licensing deals, so it’s possible these series or others like them will return to Warner Bros. Discovery’s streaming service in the near future.
