“The Bear” Renewed for Season 3

The Beef is back open for business! FX and Hulu have announced the Season 3 renewal of its critically acclaimed and award-winning series “The Bear.”

Jeremy Allen White stars in the high-energy dramedy as Carmy, a young trained chef who inherits his family’s Chicago sandwich shop after the suicide of his older brother, where is inherits its debts and drama whilst dealing with his grief. Ayo Edebiri, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Lionel Boyce, Liza Colón-Zayas, Abby Elliott, and Matty Matheson co-star with Jon Bernthal, Oliver Platt, Edwin Lee Gibson, Corey Hendrix, and more rounding out the ensemble.

In Season 2, White’s Carmy, Edebiri’s Sydney, and Moss-Bachrach’s Richie work to transform the grimy sandwich shop into a next-level spot, stripping down the restaurant and sending the crew on transformational journeys of their own.

Season 1 is currently nominated for 13 Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Comedy Series and acting nominations for White, Moss-Bachrach, Edebiri, Bernthal, and Platt.

Season 3 of “The Bear” will arrive exclusively on Hulu in 2024.


Apple TV+ Sets First Original Peanuts Movie

Charlie Brown, Snoopy, and the rest of the gang are getting an extended runtime at Apple TV+. As it continues to build up its Peanuts collection, the streamer has announced its first original Peanuts feature film from Peanuts Worldwide and WildBrain.

The new currently untitled film will follow Snoopy and Charlie Brown as they face their biggest challenge yet as they go on an adventure to the Big City, learning the true meaning of friendship while crossing paths with some surprising new friends on the journey.

Stage and screenwriter Karey Kirkpatrick (“Chicken Run,” “Smallfoot”) will write from an original story by co-writers Craig Schulz, Bryan Schulz, and Cornelius Uliano (“The Peanuts Movie”), and Steve Martino (“The Peanuts Movie”) will direct.

Apple TV+ already has a wide collection of Peanuts-related content, including the recent “Snoopy Presents: One-of-a-Kind Marcie” and the upcoming “Camp Snoopy,” plus “The Peanuts Classics,” “The Snoopy Show,” and more.

Production will begin on the new Peanuts feature in 2024.


“Reacher” Season 2 Trailer Out Now

Reacher” has returned for revenge! Prime Video has released the official trailer for Season 2 of the action series.

Alan Ritchson stars as the title Jack Reacher, a veteran military police investigator. In Season 2, when he receives a coded message that the members of his former U.S. Army unit are being mysteriously and brutally murdered one by one, he reunites with three of his former teammates turned chosen family to investigate. The second season is based on “Bad Luck and Trouble,” the 11th book in Lee Child’s bestselling series.

Maria Sten, Serinda Swan, and Shaun Sipos will co-star in Season 2 with Ferdinand Kingsley, Robert Patrick, and Domenick Lombardozzi rounding out the cast.

The new eight-episode season will roll out weekly, beginning on Dec. 15 with the first three episodes and subsequent episodes dropping every Friday through January 19, 2024.


Netflix Renews “The Circle” for Two More Seasons

You’ve been welcomed back into “The Circle.” Netflix has renewed its social media competition for two more seasons, its sixth and seventh.

The social experiment and competition series pits online players against each other as they “flirt, befriend, and catfish their way toward the ultimate cash prize as top influencer.”

Disney+ Announces Full Happy Holidays Collection Lineup

‘tis the season for the House of Mouse. Disney+ has announced its full Happy Holidays collection, with a long list of holiday classics, originals, and premieres arriving on the platform for the next two months of seasonal streaming.

In addition to new originals and premieres, including Season 2 of “The Santa Clauses,” “Dashing Through the Snow,” and more, the streamer’s collection also feature holiday classics including the “Home Alone” franchise, “The Muppet Christmas Carol,” and “The Nighmare Before Christmas,” the latter of which is celebrating its 30th anniversary.
