This December, BritBox is bringing nostalgia home for the holidays. The British streamer is adding several specials and older seasons of classic programs, including the docu-special “Farewell Doc Martin” and later seasons of the beloved sitcom “My Family” (plus its collection of Christmas specials).

My Family” Christmas Specials and Seasons 5-11 | Wednesday, Dec. 1 and Thursday, Dec. 7

BritBox will bring a full helping of the Harpers for the holidays, adding Seasons 5-11 of the 11-season sitcom to its library. Robert Lindsay, Zoë Wanamaker, Kris Marshall, Daniela Denby-Ashe, and Gabriel Thomson lead the series as the middle-class Chiswick family opposite Siobhan Hayes, Keiron Self, Rhodri Meilir, Tayler Marshall others. Additionally, the platform will be the home for all of the “My Family” Christmas specials, starting in Series 3.

Archie” | Thursday, Dec. 7

Jason Isaacs takes on the Hollywood leading man in the ITV and BritBox exclusive. The four-episode miniseries will explore the life and career of Archibald Leach, born into poverty in Bristol before becoming the one and only Cary Grant. Harriet Walter, Henry Lloyd-Hughes, Laura Aikman, Ian Puleston-Davies, Ian McNeice, Jason Watkins, Lisa Faulkner, Niamh Cusack, Lily Travers, and more co-star with Dainton Anderson, Oaklee Pendergast, and Calam Lynch also portraying Archie throughout his younger years.

Farewell Doc Martin” | Thursday, Dec. 7

Narrated by series co-star Caroline Catz, the standalone documentary special bids adieu to Britain’s favorite dyspeptic hemophobic surgeon Dr. Martin Ellingham. Featuring in-depth interviews, on-set footage, and additional character details, the ITV special goes behind the scenes of the “Doc Martin” from its “Saving Grace” origins to its 18 years on air, led by Martin Klunes.

Midsomer Murders” Season 15 | Thursday, Dec. 14

The long-running whodunit fully enters its Dudgeon and Dolman era with Series 15, coming to BritBox on Dec. 14. Neil Dudgeon plays Detective Chief Inspector John Barnaby, now in his second full season after taking over for John Nettles’ iconic Detective Chief Inspector Tom Barnaby to crack Midsomer’s toughest cases. Fiona Dolman stars as John’s wife Sarah with Tamzin Malleson joining as Dr. Kate Wilding.

Annika” Season 2 | Thursday, Dec. 21

Season 2 of the Scottish black crime dramedy will arrive on streaming in December after its premiere this past October. Nicola Walker leads the cast as Detective Inspector Annika Strandhed, heading the Marine Homicide Unit in Glasgow and managing life at home with her teenage daughter, Morgan. Jamie Sives, Katie Leung, Ukweli Roach, Varadu Sethu, Kate Dickie, Silvie Furneaux, and Paul McGann co-star.
