“How To Date Billy Walsh” | Friday, April 5

“Heartstopper” fans are guaranteed to fall in love with the new British coming-of-age rom-com starring Charithra Chandran and Sebastian Croft as Amelia and Archie, two best friends since childhood. When Archie finally gets up the courage to tell Amelia about his lifelong love for her, she falls head over heels with the new American transfer student, Billy Walsh (Tannre Buchanan), and Archie will go to great lengths to keep the two apart. “Fallout” has been released from its bunker. Prime Video’s adaptation of the best-selling global video game franchise from Bethesda makes its global debut with all eight episodes in its premiere season available at launch. Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, and Walton Goggins lead the series, set 200 years after the apocalypse as the denizens of luxury fallout shelters must return to the hellscape their ancestors left behind “and are shocked to discover an incredibly complex, gleefully weird, and highly violent universe waiting for them.” Opposite Purnell, Moten, and Goggins, the ensemble features Moisés Arias, Kyle MacLachlan, Sarita Choudhury, Dale Dickey, Michael Emerson, Leslie Uggams, Frances Turner, Dave Register, Zach Cherry, Johnny Pemberton, Rodrigo Luzzi, Annabel O’Hagan, and Xelia Mendes-Jones.

“Them: The Scare” | Thursday, April 25

The Black horror anthology makes its return for a second installment, entitled “Them: The Scare.” Once again set in Los Angeles and starring Deborah Ayorinde, the early 1990s-set Season 2 will follow Dawn Reeve, an LAPD Homicide detective assigned to a new case: the gruesome murder of a foster home mother that has left even the most hardened detectives shaken. Dawn is determined to stop the killer, but as she gets closer to the truth, something ominous and malevolent grips her and her family. The “Them: The Scare” cast will also star Pam Grier, Luke James, Joshua J. Williams, Jeremy Bobb, Wayne Knight, Carlito Olivero, Charles Brice, and Iman Shumpert. All eight episodes will be available to stream at launch.

“The Holdovers” | Monday, April 29

The 2024 Best Picture nominee and sleeper hit stars Paul Giamatti as a curmudgeonly New England prep school instructor who has to remain on campus during Christmas break to babysit a handful of students with nowhere to go and soon forms an unlikely bond with a brainy-but-damaged troublemaker and with the school’s head cook. The dramedy is also driven by Da’Vine Joy Randolph, who won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress, as well as Dominic Sessa, Carrie Preston, Brady Hepner, Ian Dolley, Jim Kaplan, Michael Provost, and more.
