There’s no place like Prime Video for the holidays! The streamer is celebrating the holiday season from the jump, ringing in the holiday season with “Candy Cane Lane,” starring Eddie Murphy and Tracee Ellis Ross, and continuing with a collection of rom-coms and animated specials, such as the DC Comics special “Merry Little Batman.”

Throughout December, Prime Video will also make way for dozens of classic and original films and series, including the sophomore seasons of “Reacher” and “Coach Prime,” the complete “7th Heaven,” and multiple entries into the original “Star Trek” film series.

Eddie Murphy leads the new Christmas romp as Chris, a man determined to win his neighborhood’s annual Christmas home decoration contest. When he inadvertently makes a deal with a mischievous elf named Pepper (Bell) to improve his chances of winning, she casts a spell that brings the 12 Days of Christmas to life and wreaks holiday havoc on the whole town, and Chris, his wife Carol (Tracie Ellis Ross), and their family must race against the clock to break the curse and save Christmas. Jillian Bell, Ken Marino, Nick Offerman, Robin Thede, Chris Redd, D.C. Young Fly, and Anjelah Johnson-Reyes make up the rest of the ensemble.

Merry Little Batman” | Friday, Dec. 8

Bruce Wayne may not be home for the holidays, but little Damian Wayne will be, preparing for battle. Left alone at Wayne Manor on Christmas Eve, the Bat-offspring transforms himself into “Little Batman” to safeguard his home and the rest of Gotham City from The Joker, Mr. Freeze, The Penguin, and more during their extra-busy holiday season. Yonas Kibreab leads the voice cast opposite Luke Wilson, James Cromwell, David Hornsby, Dolph Adomian, Brian George, Theresa McLaughin, and more in the “Home Alone”-esque special that will usher the way in for “Bat-Family,” a series in development at the streamer that will focus on the trials and tribulations of life as a super-family.

Asteroid City” | Tuesday, Dec. 12

Wes Anderson’s latest adventure comes to the platform to make your holidays bright (and more pastel). The star-studded “Asteroid City” takes place in a fictional American desert town in 1955 when groups of Junior Stargazers and Space Cadets from across the country assemble for the annual Asteroid Day celebration, but the scholarly competition is spectacularly upended by world-changing events. Jason Schwartzman, Scarlett Johansson, Tom Hanks, Jeffrey Wright, Tilda Swinton, Bryan Cranston, Edward Norton, Adrien Brody, Liev Schreiber, Hope Davis, Stephen Park, Rupert Friend, Maya Hawke, Steve Carell, Matt Dillon, Hong Chau, Willem Dafoe, Margot Robbie, Tony Revolori, Jake Ryan, and Jeff Goldblum lead the who’s who cast.

Reacher” Season 2 | Friday, Dec. 15

“Reacher” is back to continue what it started, now heading into its sophomore season with Alan Ritchson as the eponymous Jack Reacher, a veteran military police investigator. Based on “Bad Luck and Trouble,” the 11th book in Lee Child’s bestselling series, Season 2 will see Reacher receive a coded message that the members of his former U.S. Army unit are being mysteriously and brutally murdered one by one, forcing him to reunite with three of his former teammates turned chosen family to investigate. Maria Sten, Serinda Swan, and Shaun Sipos will co-star in Season 2 with Ferdinand Kingsley, Robert Patrick, and Domenick Lombardozzi co-star.

Every Body” | Tuesday, Dec. 19

The new Focus Features documentary delves into the journeys of three intersex individuals who have moved from childhoods marked by shame, secrecy, and non-consensual surgeries to thriving adulthoods. Actor and screenwriter River Gallo, political consultant Alicia Roth Weigel, and Ph.D. student Sean Saifa Wall tell their stories through exclusive footage and talking-head interviews and add to the greater story of those advocating for a greater understanding of the intersex community and an end to unnecessary surgeries around the world.
