Witchy Shows and Movies to Stream Now That ‘Agatha All Along’ Has Ended
These shows and movies may help you move past the sadness from missing Agatha and your other favorite witches.
Agatha Harkness’s journey down the Witches’ Road has come to a close. Whether or not she achieved her goals at the end is a spoiler I won’t divulge here, but it’s safe to say that “Agatha All Along” has aired its season — and perhaps series (it was designed to be a limited-run show, after all) — finale as of Wednesday, Oct. 30. If you’re left feeling a little empty and lost as to what to stream next, fear not! I’ve got a list of four TV shows and movies to try and satisfy that witchy itch.
What Should You Watch Next After ‘Agatha All Along’
Charmed
If you were attracted to “Agatha All Along” by the camaraderie of a group of witches, then “Charmed” is a natural next series to try. It follows four sisters who come together to become the most powerful good witches of all time, despite the nonstop machinations of demons, warlocks, and other evildoers that cross their path.
The series stars Shannen Doherty, Holly Combs, Alyssa Milano, and Rose McGowan, and is one of the most recognized TV series of the late ’90s and early aughts. It frequently features at or near the top of “best magical TV shows” lists, and is the perfect vehicle for witchy fun after “Agatha All Along.” You can stream “Charmed” with a subscription to Peacock.
Motherland: Fort Salem
This series is also focused on a group of witches, but unlike “Charmed” takes a decidedly more serious tone. “Motherland: Fort Salem” centers on an alternate America in which the government agreed to a deal with witches living in the country to halt persecution in return for their aid in battle during America’s various wars.
At the moment, this show isn’t available to stream anywhere with a subscription, but you can rent or buy it on Prime Video. It’s a fascinating and contemporary magical TV series, and could be just what you’re looking for if you’re bummed about the ending of “Agatha All Along.”
Return to Oz
“Agatha All Along” was packed with imagery and themes from “The Wizard of Oz,” even though the show itself is much darker than the 1939 movie. “Return to Oz,” however, is much more in keeping with the tone of “Agatha”; in fact, the movie can be downright terrifying at times. It follows young Dorothy on a new adventure to Oz, packed with wondrous creatures and terrifying villains now that the wizard has departed.
The best thing about “Return to Oz” is that it already streams on Disney+, so you won’t have to purchase a new streaming subscription to watch the movie.

The Umbrella Academy
This series shares a ton of themes with “Agatha All Along,” including mind-bending adventures, characters with outlandish powers, and supernatural beings with a predilection for mayhem. The series centers on a dysfunctional family of heroes who are brought back together to try to solve the mystery of their father’s death.
“The Umbrella Academy” is a Netflix original series, and now has four seasons available to stream there. If you loved the wacky group dynamics “Agatha All Along” brought to the table, this is definitely a good series to move to next.
