On their Fourth Quarter earnings call today, AT&T CEO Randall Stephenson shared that AT&T WatchTV, the company’s skinny bundle, has 500,000 “established accounts.” The service is free to all AT&T Unlimited&More customers, so many are likely free accounts.
He didn’t share specifics on active viewers, or how many of those are paying for the $15 a month standalone service. The service includes 37 channels including Turner-owned TNT, TBS, & CNN, as well as others like VH1, HGTV, and Food Network. It allows for a single stream, and unlike most other streaming services does not include a DVR.
