A major change is coming to the 38th Annual Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony! Since 1995, the big event has aired live on HBO. Now, for the first time ever, viewers will tune in to Disney+ for the live broadcast. It’s the same star-studded event but it’s found a new home. The 2023 Annual Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony airs live from Brooklyn on Friday, Nov. 3 beginning at 8 p.m. ET. After the live event, ABC will air a special program on Monday, Jan. 1. About 2023 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Ceremony
On Friday, some of the most successful names in music make their way to Barclays Center in Brooklyn for the 2023 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony. This annual ceremony recognizes the artists who have played a major role in music and culture.
Ahead of the big day, many of the guests, performers, honorees, and presenters have been revealed. Artists become eligible 25 years after their first album is released. This year’s inductees include Kate Bush, Sheryl Crow, Missy Elliott, George Michael, Willie Nelson, Rage Against the Machine, and The Spinners.
DJ Kool Herc and Link Wray will be honored for Musical Influence, while Chaka Khan, Al Kooper, and Bernie Taupin are recognized for Musical Excellence. The Ahmet Ertegun Award goes to Don Cornelius.
Throughout the action-packed evening, viewers can look forward to performances by Adam Levine, Carrie Underwood, Common, Ice-T, LL COOL J, Miguel, Queen Latifah, Sia, and Stevie Nicks. Brandi Carlile, Chris Stapleton, Dave Matthews, Elton John, H.E.R., New Edition, and St. Vincent round out this impressive lineup.
