It may seem hard to believe, but BTS has been in action for 10 years. The K-Pop group behind such global hits as “Butter,” “Dynamite” and “Permission to Dance” is the subject of a brand-new docuseries on Disney+ entitled “BTS Monuments: Beyond the Star” which debuts on Wednesday, Dec. 20. The eight-part series will show the band from its humble beginnings, following their path to global superstardom. You can watch with a subscription to Disney+.
About 'BTS Monuments: Beyond The Star'
This is the ultimate series for BTS superfans. RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook will tell the story of the group in their own words, describing dizzying highs like the band’s first live performance, coming home with the best new artist award at the 2013 Melon music awards, becoming stars in the United States and the rest of their biggest moments.
It wasn’t all sunshine and roses for the group, however. The series will also focus on the band’s troubles during its “Danger” period, the difficulties of isolating during the COVID-19 pandemic, and just getting to know each other and coming together as a group for the first time, along with the challenges involved. BTS ARMY, this one is for you!
