On Thursday, Feb. 15, women’s basketball history will almost certainly be made as the Iowa Hawkeyes host the Michigan Wolverines from Carver-Hawkeye Arena. Iowa guard Caitlin Clark is just seven points behind former Washington star Kelsey Plum on the NCAA’s list of top scorers in the sport’s history. While the scoring record seems almost a foregone conclusion, the Hawkeyes can’t afford another upset as they will need to stay unblemished from here on out as they will host the No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes in their regular-season finale with a chance to claim part of the conference title on the line.
