About ‘Dashing Through the Snow’
“Dashing Through the Snow” is a feel-good family comedy starring Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Teyonah Parris, Madison Skye Validum, Oscar Nuñez, and Lil Rel Howery. The film follows a father, Eddie Garrick, who can’t bring himself to embrace the holiday season due to a past traumatic experience. As he navigates his own personal trauma around the holiday season, he’s also raising his nine-year-old daughter Charlotte and dealing with his separation from his wife, Allison.
On Christmas Eve, Eddie, a social worker, heads to work at the police station. Allison requests he bring Charlotte along. While at work, Eddie and Charlotte cross paths with Nick and discover this is no ordinary work day. He’s dressed in a red suit and his behavior certainly catches their attention. As Eddie and Charlotte attempt to get to the bottom of who this strange man may be, they find themselves on a wild journey. Could this be what Eddie needed to process his rocky past and get excited about the holiday season?
