About Disney Animated Movie 'Wish'

In the Kingdom of Rosas, on their 18th birthdays, every citizen gives their wish to the magical King Magnifico. That is until Asha, a smart, idealistic young woman, makes a wish that is so powerful that it is answered by a cosmic force— a little ball of boundless energy called Star.

Together, Star and Asha learn that King Magnifico is not as benevolent as he seems. Instead, he is harvesting his subjects’ wishes for the magic that they possess, allowing him to build his own power on the backs of his people. Asha and Star must stop the king and save their family and friends, even if no one believes them. “Wish” reminds us that when the will of one courageous human connects with the magic of the stars, wondrous things can happen.

Asha is voiced by Academy Award winner Ariana DeBose as Asha, Magnifico by Chris Pine, and Alan Tudyk provides the voice for Asha’s favorite goat, Valentino. Also in the voice cast are Victor Garber, Angelique Cabral, Natasha Rothwell, Jennifer Kumiyama, Harvey Guillén, Evan Peters, Ramy Youssef, Jon Rudnitsky, and more.
