Percy Jackson knows he’s nothing all that special, but he’s got friends and hobbies that he enjoys. But soon the 12-year-old starts to manifest some truly hair-raising powers…and soon, he gets a visit from Zeus himself. As if that wasn’t stressful enough for Percy, he finds himself accused of stealing Zeus’s master lightning bolt!

Having done no such thing, Jackson assembles his most trusted friends Grover and Annabeth. Together they embark on an epic quest across the United States, determined to find the true fate of the master bolt and return it to Mount Olympus lest they all reap the wrath of Zeus and the gods! Pursued by monsters and mythical figures, Percy and his friends will have to rely on the power of their friendship to fulfill their quest!
