The frantic anxiety of trying to find a new Santa Claus has been relived for Scott Calvin, thanks to his son Cal. Cal generously agreed to take over for his dad upon retirement, after Scott’s plans in that vein were thwarted during Season 1 of “The Santa Clauses.”

This season, Scott gets down to the business of training Cal in the finer points of being Saint Nick. But when the North Pole unleashes a little unexpected magic of its own, Scott and his family must set about the familiar task of ensuring Christmas is delivered safely, all while preparing for life under the next Santa.

Now that Scott and his family have successfully saved Christmas, Scott turns his focus towards training his son Cal to eventually take over the “family business” as Santa Claus. However, a bit of North Pole magic brings an unexpected challenge to Scott’s plan.
