Top 5 Titles Coming to Peacock in May 2024: ‘Tattooist of Auschwitz,’ Eurovision 2024, ‘Lady Parts,’ More
As we head into summer, it is a great time to become a Peacock subscriber. Not only is NBCUniversal’s flagship streaming service home to great movies and buzzy originals, but it also offers tons of new and exclusive films and TV series throughout the month. In May, Peacock is also the home for both the Kentucky Derby and the Indianapolis 500, WWE and NXT premium live events including the King and Queen of the Ring, PGA and LGA golf tour stops, Indycar, and much more. The NBCU streamer is also home to original and exclusive Peacock series, and the next-day streaming of shows from across the NBCU family of networks, it is a good time to sign up for either a Peacock Premium ($5.99) or Peacock Premium Plus ($11.99) plan. ‘The Tattooist of Auschwitz’ | All Episodes on May 2
The new limited series “The Tattooist of Auschwitz” is inspired by the real-life story of Jewish Holocaust survivors Lali and Gita Sokolov. Played by Jonah Hauer-King, Lali arrived at Auschwitz-Birkenau in 1942, where he was forced to be the tätowierer, charged with tattooing his fellow prisoners with identification numbers on their arms.
While tattooing her prisoner number on her arm, Lali meets Gita (played by Anna Próchniak) and instantly the pair falls in love. Despite being under constant guard by a violent and volatile Nazi officer Baretzki (Jonas Nay), Lali and Gita became determined to keep each other alive, which leads to a story of courage, love, and humanity.
Nearly 60 years later, Lali (now played by Harvey Keitel) meets writer Heather Morris (Melanie Lynskey). Having recently lost Gita, the widower tells Heather — and in turn, the world — his story. However, in doing so, now an old man, Lali is forced to face the horrors and abuse of his youth, but in the end, revisiting the memories of his love proves to be more powerful than any trauma he could face.

‘The American Society of Magical Negroes’ | May 3
“The American Society of Magical Negroes” hit theaters earlier this year, and in May, it will arrive on Peacock. A fresh and satirical comedy, the film stars Justice Smith, David Alan Grier, An-Li Bogan, Drew Tarver, Rupert Friend, Nicole Byer, and more.
In the movie, Aren is recruited into a secret society of magical Black people who dedicate their lives to a cause of utmost importance: making white people’s lives easier. However, when his assignment brings him into contact with Lizzie, he falls in love, completely upending his sacred duty.

2024 Eurovision Song Contest | May 7-11
With all due respect to “Star Search,” “American Idol,” and “The Voice,” there is only one singing competition that infatuates the entire world, and it is back on Peacock in May. The Eurovision Song Contest 2024 will take place in Malmö, Sweden following that country’s win last year with “Tattoo” by Loreen. In total, 37 different nations will be participating in the contest this year, including tiny Luxembourg in the field for the first time in 31 years.
As is the case every year, 2024’s Eurovision competition will be full of incredible international pop songs, immediate star-making performances, and some of the coolest costumes and shows you have ever seen. The broadcast will begin on May 7 with the first of two semi-final competitions; 31 countries will be divided amongst the two days on May 7 and 9. Then, on May 11, the eight finalists will take to the stage in their quest to take home the title.

‘Love Undercover’ | Four episodes on May 8
Despite the global popularity of soccer… sorry, football, for the vast majority of Americans, famous footballers are essentially anonymous, in-shape men. The new Peacock dating series “Love Undercover” brings an elite group of international soccer stars to the United States and sets them out on a quest to find love.
The series will follow the footballers on a journey of love, heartbreak, and self-discovery. Will any of the men be able to find love without the benefit of their fame, or will their true identities eventually get in the way? With their families and lives still waiting for them overseas, will any of the players find a woman that they want to take back and introduce to their lives back home?

‘We Are Lady Parts’ Season 2 | May 30
At long last, Season 2 of “We Are Lady Parts” is finally arriving on Peacock in May. The comedy follows the titular band as they get back to work following their first U.K. tour. With a renewed artistic mission, a rival band is threatening to upset the delicate status quo.
Despite the personal and professional pressures swirling around them, Lady Parts begins working on their first album, despite the fact that as their own individual ambitions get all jumbled up, they are forced to question whether or not “making it big” is what they really want after all.
