"Yellowstone," which according to reports will begin production on the end of Season 5 in spring of 2024.

It’s not just an illusion. After months of waiting for shows and movies to get back to work as their writers and actors walked picket lines attempting to win hard-earned concessions from studios, Hollywood is back at work on your favorite titles.

  • A new report indicates “Yellowstone” will restart production in late spring of 2024.
  • The show is slated to return to airwaves in November of 2024, though the participation of Kevin Costner is not guaranteed.
  • There are several options for watching the show to catch up in the meantime, including Peacock, Paramount+, DIRECTV STREAM and more.

When Does ‘Yellowstone’ Ride Off Into the Sunset?

“Yellowstone” is of the top TV shows of the past half-decade and was co-created by Taylor Sheridan, the hottest producer in Hollywood. Fans have been anxiously awaiting word that the series was resuming production on the final batch of Season 5 episodes that have yet to be filmed, despite word that Paramount Network would air those episodes in November of 2024.

The Hollywood Reporter says that the show will be back to production in late spring of 2024, ensuring it will meet its target date of releasing Season 5, part two late next fall. The first half of the season ended in a shocking cliffhanger, so its return will finally offer fans of the show closure ahead of the December premiere of “2024,” the new Sheridan-helmed series set in the universe of the Duttons and featuring Matthew McConaughey.

It’s still not clear if “Yellowstone” star Kevin Costner will be available for the final batch of episodes or not. Relations between Paramount, Sheridan and Costner frayed to the snapping point when production of the first half of Season 5 ended, and all sides have pointed the finger at the other when the subject of blame comes up.
