Which channels do you need to watch national NBA games in 2026?
To watch nationally broadcast NBA games this season, viewers will need access to ABC, ESPN, and NBC. These are the main channels that will carry NBA games for a national audience, with some Peacock-exclusive contests also being simulcast on NBC Sports Network. Telemundo will also carry a selection of NBA games from NBC in Spanish.
There is a wide selection of live TV streamers that carry these channels; DIRECTV, Fubo, Hulu + Live TV, and YouTube TV all carry ABC, ESPN, and NBC in a wide selection of packages. NBC Sports Network is a little harder to find, and while Sling TV carries ESPN, it only offers ABC and NBC in a small number of markets around the United States.

Which channels do you need to watch local NBA games in 2026?
Many NBA teams are partnered with DAZN this season thanks to the collapse of Main Street Sports Group, which previously distributed several teams on FanDuel Sports Network channels. Other clubs are still partnered with traditional RSNs, while still others are playing their games on local broadcast channels in their respective markets. Find each team’s local broadcaster in the table below:
Which live TV streamers are best for watching the NBA in 2026?
While there are several live TV streamers that include ABC, ESPN, and NBC, there are only two that distribute a large selection of RSNs: DIRECTV and Fubo. Learn more about the strengths and weaknesses of each major live TV streamer that will carry NBA games this season below.
DIRECTV
DIRECTV carries ABC, ESPN, and NBC in all Signature channel packages, ranging in price from $90 to $175 per month for plans that include 90+ to 185+ news, sports, and entertainment channels. The channels are also available in DIRECTV’s MySports Genre Pack, which costs $65 per month for a package of 20+ sports-only channels. All of these plans include an ESPN Unlimited subscription as well.
As mentioned, DIRECTV is one of the only streamers with a wide selection of RSNs, including Altitude, MSG, NBC Sports Boston, YES Network, and more. Viewers can find RSNs in the CHOICE, PREMIER, and ULTIMATE Signature channel packages, or in the MyHome Team mini add-on pack for the MySports Genre Pack ($20 per month plus a MySports subscription).
DIRECTV
DIRECTV is one of The Streamable’s top choices for the best live TV streaming service overall in 2026, especially for users who want the most channels or want to watch the most live sports. With an unbeatable lineup of local, news, sports, and entertainment channels, three main signature packages, an unlimited DVR, and 20 simultaneous streams at home, DIRECTV remains a premier choice for any cord-cutter.
Fubo
Fubo offers multiple ways to watch the NBA this season. The streamer’s Pro and Elite plans carry RSNs as well as ABC, ESPN, and NBC, pricing in at $89 and $99 per month before taxes and fees, respectively. The Fubo Sports service also carries ABC, ESPN, and NBC, with a starting price of $65 per month. The My Local Sports add-on allows viewers to add their local RSN to a Fubo Sports subscription, which normally does not have RSNs.
Apart from YouTube TV, Fubo is the only major live TV streamer that has added NBC Sports Network, which simulcasts some NBA games appearing on the NBCUniversal streaming service Peacock. All Fubo packages include an ESPN Unlimited subscription at no extra cost.
Fubo
Fubo is a live TV streaming service offering a robust lineup of approximately 150 premier channels, with plans starting at $63.99 per month. This entry-level package provides access to local broadcast affiliates 18 of the leading 35 cable channels channels, and valuable regional sports networks (RSNs).
Hulu + Live TV
Hulu + Live TV does not carry a large selection of RSNs, but it does carry ABC, ESPN, and NBC. Viewers also get Disney+ and Hulu bundled into their Hulu + Live TV subscription, with all plans starting at $100 per month, and can also access ESPN Unlimited through the ESPN app. It won’t offer a huge selection of regional NBA games, but it does have a good selection of national contests.
Hulu Live TV
Hulu Live TV is a live TV streaming service with more than 70 channels for $89.99 per month. Hulu + Live TV base plan includes local channels 32 of the top 35 cable channels, and regional sports networks (RSNs). Subscribers get free access to Disney+ and ESPN Select at no extra charge.
Sling TV
Sling TV only carries ABC and NBC in a small selection of markets, so it may not be the ideal solution for streaming the NBA in 2026-27. ESPN is available in the Sling Essentials package ($20 per month) or the Sling Orange plan ($46 per month), so if the game (or games) you want to watch is on this channel, Sling TV is a fantastic choice.
Sling TV
Sling TV is The Streamable’s choice for cord-cutters on a budget. Sling is a live TV streaming service with multiple channel packages. The $45.99/month Sling Orange plan offers about 30 channels, including Disney Channel and ESPN. The $45.99/month Sling Blue plan offers about 40 channels, including ABC, Fox, and NBC in major markets.
You can combine Orange+Blue for a total of $60.99 / month. Sling also offers many channel add-on packages starting at $6/month.
YouTube TV
Although YouTube TV doesn’t offer many RSNs, it does have ABC, ESPN, and NBC in its core package for $83 per month, or its Sports Genre Plan at $65 per month. The service also carries NBC Sports Network, so a subscription can help you avoid having to sign up for Peacock.
YouTube TV
YouTube TV is a live TV streaming service with more than 60 channels for $82.99/month. This plan includes local channels 32 of the top 35 cable channels, and regional sports networks (RSNs) in select markets. The base plan includes more than 100 live channels, including major broadcast networks like ABC, CBS, FOX, and NBC, as well as popular cable channels such as ESPN, CNN, FX, USA Network, and TNT. Local channels are included in most markets, making YouTube TV a full replacement for traditional cable for many viewers.
