Can You Watch 2024 NHL Conference Finals on Prime Video?

Four teams still have a chance to sip from Lord Stanley’s Cup with an NHL Championship. The 2024 NHL Conference Finals get underway this week, starting on Wednesday, May 22 at 8 p.m. ET with Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Final matchup between the NHL’s best regular season team, New York Rangers, and the Florida Panthers. In the West, it’ll be the Dallas Stars against the Edmonton Oilers, with puck drop on Thursday, May 23 from Dallas at 8:30 p.m. ET. The Eastern Conference Final will air across ESPN and ABC, while TNT and truTV has coverage of the Western Conference Final.

Although Prime Video is well-known for picking up sports like “Thursday Night Football” during the NFL regular season, it will not stream any of the 2024 NHL Playoffs. Things could change in the future if Prime Video looks to get deeper into live sports, but as of now, you can’t watch any of the Oilers vs. Stars Western Conference Final games or Rangers vs. Panthers Eastern Conference Final games with this service.

To watch the 2024 NHL Conference Finals, you’ll need a live TV streaming service that carries ESPN, ABC, and TNT and truTV. You’ll find The Streamable’s advice on which one to choose below!

How to Stream The 2024 NHL Conference Finals

The 2024 NHL Playoff games are airing on ESPN, ABC, and TNT / truTV which means DIRECTV STREAM, Hulu + Live TV, Sling TV, and YouTube TV all carry the needed channels. Fubo isn’t a good option as it doesn’t carry TNT or TruTV.

Best Choice for Watching the 2024 NHL Conference Finals: Hulu + Live TV

If value and entertainment are high on your list, Hulu + Live TV is a great way to stream the 2024 NHL Conference Finals between the Oilers vs. Stars and Rangers vs. Panthers. A subscription at $76.99 per month or more gets you free access to the Disney Bundle ($14.99 per month), so you’ll be able to stream Disney+, ESPN+, and Hulu to your heart’s content alongside the top channels offered by Hulu + Live TV. Plus, it carries all the channels you need to watch your favorite hockey team throughout the entire 2024 NHL Playoffs. That kind of offering at that price point is why Hulu + Live TV ranks here on our list.

Best Alternative Option: DIRECTV STREAM

We love DIRECTV STREAM for streaming just about anything, and the road to the Stanley Cup is no different. It offers all the channels you need to watch the NHL Conference Finals, and the service comes with a five-day free trial for all new customers. DIRECTV STREAM also offers new users $25 off per month for their first two months of service on any plan, after which prices start at $79.99 per month.

DIRECTV STREAM carries all the channels you’ll need to watch every 2024 NHL Playoff game in their base Entertainment package. And, if you want even more sports during the regular season, users can upgrade to the Choice plan to see their local NHL and NHL teams via regional sports networks.

Great Choice For NHL Fans: Sling TV

You can watch the entire NHL Conference Finals with Sling TV if you subscribe to the Orange + Blue plan for $55 per month to get ABC, ESPN, TNT, and TruTV. But, the good news is for a limited time, you can get the first month of Sling Orange or Sling Blue for just $15. Without the deal, the Sling Blue package (which includes ABC, Fox, NBC, and other major sports carriers) costs $40 per month, but you can subscribe for just $15 for the first month. Likewise, the Orange plan runs $40 but includes ESPN, TBS, and TNT, but you can get it for just $15 for one month.

Last Option: YouTube TV

YouTube TV plans start at $72.99 per month, and it carries all the channels you need to watch the Oilers take on the Stars in the West, and the Panthers face the Rangers in the East. What it doesn’t offer is a wide selection of RSNs, a standardized free trial, or free streaming services bundled into the price, which is why we place it last on our list.

Can You Watch The 2024 NHL Conference Finals on Fubo?

Fubo isn’t a good option for watching the NHL Western Conference Final because it doesn’t carry TNT or TruTV. In fact, Fubo does not carry channels from WarnerMedia-owned (CNN, TBS, and TNT), A+E (A&E, History Channel, and Lifetime), and AMC Networks (AMC, BBC America, and WE tv). However, you will still be able to watch the Rangers vs. Panthers games that appear on ESPN and ABC. And, if you get a subscription to Max, you can catch the Oilers take on the Stars on TNT / TruTV with that service.
