About ‘Love Island USA’ Season 6
“Love Island” returns to Fiji for the show’s sixth season. In this American spinoff of the hit British original, a group of sexy singles come together in a picturesque villa in order to find love. But while they might be in a tropical oasis, drama and heartbreak surround them. Throughout their time in paradise, the Islanders couple up to face twists, turns, challenges, and temptations.
Just as couples are starting to bond and feel secure in their potential connections, “bombshells” arrive at the villa forcing them to reconsider if their current partner is who they want to be with, or if the new arrival might result in a recoupling. From there, viewers get the opportunity to vote on their favorite couples in order to determine who remains in the villa, and eventually who walks away with the grand prize.
Following the Season 6 premiere of the show, Peacock will debut a weekly chat and recap series called “Love Island Aftersun” which will dive into all of the drama from the past week. Episodes will begin on Saturday, June 15, and will air weekly throughout the run of the season.
