Can I Watch the Buccaneers Game on Prime Video?

The 2023 Tampa Bay Buccaneers NFL season is finally here! The Buccaneers get underway by traveling to Minnesota to take on the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, Sept. 10th. The game kicks off at 1 p.m. from U.S. Bank Stadium.

At the moment, there’s only one Buccaneers game scheduled to appear on Prime Video. That’s the team’s Week 8 tilt against the Buffalo Bills. As most fans know, flexible scheduling after Week 13 has been introduced for “TNF” this year, so the Buccaneers could end up on Prime Video once more before the year is out.

To watch the rest of 2023 Tampa Bay Buccaneers, you’ll need a live TV streaming service that carries CBS, Fox, and ABC. Check below for a comparison of each!

How to Stream Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2023

There are four live TV services that will allow you to watch the Buccaneers in 2023 without a cable or satellite subscription. Each has its own particular advantages and shortcomings, so check them out below to make an informed choice.

DTV STREAM DTV Internet Fubo Hulu Philo Sling TV YouTube

Top Pick for Streaming the Buccaneers: DIRECTV STREAM

DIRECTV STREAM comes with a five-day free trial for all new users, and its plans start at $74.99 per month. Its base Entertainment package carries all local channels in the Tampa Bay area, but fans will have to add the Sports pack or upgrade to the Choice plan ($99.99 per month) if they want to see games on NFL Network.

Best Alternative for Tampa Bay Sports Fanatics: Fubo

Fubo includes all broadcast channels needed to stream the Buccaneers in 2023, as well as ESPN and NFL Network in its base Pro plan. That tier starts at $84.99 and includes RSN like Bally Sports Florida and Fox Sports Florida.

Top Bundled Service to Watch Buccaneers Games: Hulu + Live TV

Hulu + Live TV carries CBS, Fox, NBC, ABC, ESPN, and NFL Network in the Tampa Bay area, and its plans start at $69.99 currently. They’ll rise to $76.99 per month in October, but that cost will still give users access to the Disney Bundle at no extra charge. If you subscribe to ESPN+ and want to watch all Buccaneers games without cable this year, this is the way to go.

Good Live TV Service for Bargain Hunters: Sling TV

Sling TV isn’t ideal for watching Buccaneers games in 2023 for a few reasons. First, it doesn’t carry CBS in any markets, so you’d have to find another way to watch the seven games on CBS this season. Sling does offer Fox, but only in these 18 major markets across the country:

  • Atlanta
  • Austin
  • Chicago
  • Dallas/Fort Worth
  • Detroit
  • Gainesville
  • Houston
  • Los Angeles
  • Milwaukee
  • Minneapolis/St. Paul
  • New York
  • Orlando/Daytona/Melbourne
  • Philadelphia
  • Phoenix
  • San Francisco/Oakland/San Jose
  • Seattle
  • Tampa/St. Petersburg
  • Washington, DC

Sling TV offers ABC in its Blue plan in eight major markets across the country: New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Houston, Raleigh-Durham, and Fresno. So if you live near one of these cities, you can watch with a subscription to Sling TV.

Finally, while the live streaming service does in fact carry NBC, it only does so in these 11 major markets across the country:

  • Boston
  • Chicago
  • Dallas/Fort Worth
  • Miami/Fort Lauderdale
  • Hartford/New Haven
  • Los Angeles
  • New York
  • Philadelphia
  • San Diego
  • San Francisco/Oakland/San Jose
  • Washington, DC

While Sling TV isn’t a good fit for Buccaneers fans, it’s still a great live TV bargain. Its plans start at $40 per month, and out-of-market fans of the Buccaneers may get lucky and catch a game in a national broadcast window on Fox this season with the service.

Last Option: YouTube TV

As the new home of NFL Sunday Ticket this year, YouTube TV is a good choice for both in and out-of-market Buccaneers fans. Users in the Tampa Bay area will get all the broadcast and cable channels needed to stream the team in 2023, and fans who don’t live in Tampa Bay can subscribe to Sunday Ticket to see any games not appearing on national TV this season.
