Ashley Steves
Ashley Steves is a passionate writer for The Streamable, covering everything from streaming premieres to the latest movie releases and must-see TV shows. With a background in media and communications, Steves has honed her skills in content creation and editing, bringing a unique perspective to her coverage of the entertainment and streaming industries. A cord-cutter since 2012, Steves is an avid fan of the New York Yankees, FC Bayern Munich, and (for good measure) the Buffalo Sabres. She streams with a Fire TV Stick 4K Max, and her favorite titles include “Blazing Saddles,” “Six Feet Under,” and “Taskmaster.”
She holds a bachelor’s degree in media and communications from New York University, where she developed a strong foundation in writing and media analysis. She began her career as an editor at WNED in the New York area before transitioning to cover Broadway and write extensively about New York City’s vibrant nightlife scene and industry news for such publications as Backstage. This diverse background has equipped Steves with a keen eye for storytelling, which she applies to her work at The Streamable, where she keeps readers up to date on the latest in the streaming world.
