How to Watch Every Major League Baseball Team’s 2024 Spring Training Games
With MLB Spring Training set to begin this week, The Streamable breaks down all your options for watching in and out-of-market games.
February is still here, but that isn’t stopping Major League Baseball from getting going on spring training! Every team in the league will play around 30 spring training games, the majority of which won’t be shown on a national TV channel!
If your MLB team of choice plays on a regional sports network, a live TV streaming service like DIRECTV STREAM or Fubo may be the best way to watch. But these services can often be expensive, and some teams feature in-market streaming services that allow viewers to stream spring training games for a deep discount.
Fortunatley, The Streamable’s experts are here to break down all your options for streaming MLB spring training games no matter which team you’re pulling for this season. From national games to locally-broadcast options, we’ll cover all the bases!
Where Can You Stream Nationally-Broadcast MLB Spring Training Games?
ESPN+ will offer a limited selection of spring training games this season, and they may be subject to local blackouts in the markets of the teams playing. This 10-game slate will cost the viewer $10.99 to stream, the monthly subscription cost of ESPN+.

Fans who don’t live in the same market as their favorite MLB team will be able to stream spring training games via the league’s out-of-market games platform MLB.TV. Viewers can stream more than 250 spring training games with a $29.99-per-month leaguewide plan, or choose a single-team option for just $19.99 monthly.
MLB Network will also carry some nationally-broadcast MLB spring training games this season. To watch that channel, fans will need a subscription to a live TV streaming service, if they don’t wish to subscribe to MLB.TV to get it. Viewers will find MLB Network on three live TV streaming services, of which Sling TV is the cheapest. Sling TV’s base plans are $40 per month, but to get MLB Network audiences will need to sign up for the Sports Extra add-on ($11 per month).

What’s the Cheapest Way to Watch In-Market MLB Spring Training Games?
MLB spreads its broadcast rights across myriad providers to ensure maximum coverage of all its teams games. That means for in-market fans, there is no one streaming service or live TV distributor that will carry each and every MLB squad’s spring training games.
Most often, the regional sports networks (RSNs) that are responsible for the team’s regular season broadcasts also offers its spring training contests. Providers like Bally Sports are available on select live TV streaming platforms, but the Bally Sports+ platform also carries five MLB teams.
