Fans who don’t live in the same market as their favorite MLB team will be able to stream spring training games via the league’s out-of-market games platform MLB.TV. Viewers can stream more than 250 spring training games with a $29.99-per-month leaguewide plan, or choose a single-team option for just $19.99 monthly.
MLB Network will also carry some nationally-broadcast MLB spring training games this season. To watch that channel, fans will need a subscription to a live TV streaming service, if they don’t wish to subscribe to MLB.TV to get it. Viewers will find MLB Network on three live TV streaming services, of which Sling TV is the cheapest. Sling TV’s base plans are $40 per month, but to get MLB Network audiences will need to sign up for the Sports Extra add-on ($11 per month).
